An Excel and VBA system that automates termly result processing for secondary schools: imports, continuous assessment, averages and batch-printed report cards. Used in real schools across Cameroon.
The challenge
Schools without budgets for full platforms still face the same termly burden: calculating continuous assessment, subject averages and rankings by hand, then typing report cards one by one.
What we built
We built a system on the tool schools already have: Microsoft Excel. It imports student data, scores continuous assessment (DS1, DS2), computes subject-group averages and generates personalised report cards with automatic pagination.
Administrators select a student from a dropdown, or batch-print results for an entire class, saving hours of manual calculation and improving accuracy.
